SNOW PLANS: ROUNDWOOD RIDGE II

SNOW PLAN #2: 3-5 INCHES

This snow plan is in effect when the forecast is for less than 5 inches, but significant enough that plowing is needed. Cars DO NOT PARK in zones 2 & 3 in the rear of the building.  After plowing of these zones, cars from zone 4 move their cars, and that zone is then plowed.

SNOW PLAN #1: 5 INCHES OR GREATER

This plan is for a significant forecast of snow. Volunteers move cars into the garage in ferry style, blocking all other cars until the lot is plowed at the end of the storm. Volunteers then move cars to the plowed spaces in zones 2,3, and 4. Outside parking is limited to zones 1 & 5, with zone 4 as an overflow parking area only if needed. Anyone who may need their car for work or needs to leave during the storm should park outside in these zones.

NOTES:

• Zone 5 is long term parking; if you are away for more than one night, park here.
• There is always a 4-wheel drive vehicle for emergencies at the entrance to the garage during plan 1.
